Consent Agenda
The Land Board approved the consent agenda:
  • Request for approval of the minutes of the the June 10, 2008 State Land Board meeting.
  • Request for approval of the agency strategic plan.
Action Agenda
The Land Board:
  1. Adopted administrative rules governing the granting of leases, licenses and short-term access authorizations for special uses on state-owned Trust and Non-Trust Land.
  2. Adopted administrative rules governing the granting of easements on state-owned Trust and Non-Trust Land.
  3. Adopted administrative rules governing the authorization of leases and licenses for the removal or use of rock, sand, gravel and silt derived from state-owned submerged and submersible land.
  4. Authorized selling 1.73 acres of historically filled land to the City of Coos Bay in Coos County.
  5. Approved the purchase of two parcels of land adjacent to the South Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve in Coos County.
  6. Approved the South Redmond Tract Land Use and Management Plan. 
  7. Approved initiating negotiations for a land exchange with Deschutes County.
Informational Agenda / Other
The Oregon Department of Forestry presented the Annual Report on Common School Forest Lands Management.
 
The Land Board presented a certificate of appreciation to Titan Salvage for the successful removal of the New Carissa wreck
